Job Description:
• Provide quality customer service by obtaining necessary documentation to underwrite the loan
• Communicate with the customer and/or Loan Officer
• Review and analyze borrower’s credit, employment, income, and assets
• Assemble the complete loan package for underwriting
• Verify all required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file
• Prepare a loan approval summary and ensure the accuracy of all information printed on documents
• Review loans for compliance with all mortgage-related regulations
• Communicate with various companies to obtain Property Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff information
• Manage pipeline by completing and submitting reports within allotted turn-around times
• Document all communication related to the loan application
Requirements:
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience
• Experience with Encompass
• Working knowledge of RESPA regulations
• General knowledge of mortgage and consumer lending regulations
• Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows
• Excellent math and analytical skills
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills
