Role Overview We are looking for a driven and personable Business Development Intern to help grow Fasset's presence in Bangladesh by building relationships with business clients, forging strategic partnerships, and cultivating a network of brand ambassadors. This is a high-visibility role for someone who wants hands-on exposure to fintech, partnerships, and market growth in an emerging digital finance ecosystem — working directly with the Bangladesh Country Lead. Key Responsibilities Business Client Relationship Building Identify and reach out to potential business clients (SMEs, freelancer communities, corporates) who could benefit from Fasset's products and services) Support onboarding conversations and maintain relationship pipelines using CRM/tracking tools Represent Fasset professionally in meetings, calls, and follow-ups with prospective clients Partnerships Support due diligence, proposal drafting, and follow-through on partnership agreements Help track partnership performance and maintain relationship health with existing partners Ambassador Program Help identify, recruit, and onboard community ambassadors across Bangladesh (freelancer hubs, universities, fintech communities) Coordinate ambassador activities, incentive tracking, and communication cadences Support content and messaging for ambassador engagement and community growth campaigns Market & Reporting Support Conduct light market research on prospective clients, partners, and competitor activity in Bangladesh's fintech/remittance space Prepare simple trackers, decks, or summaries for internal reporting Support the Country Lead with ad hoc business development tasks as needed Who We're Looking For Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable initiating conversations with strangers, clients, and partners Genuine interest in fintech, digital banking, remittances, or Islamic finance Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working with some ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment Basic proficiency with spreadsheets/CRM tools (Google Sheets, Excel, Notion, etc.) Fluent in Bangla and English Prior experience in sales, client-facing roles, community management, or student organizations is a plus What You'll Gain Direct mentorship from Fasset's Bangladesh Country Lead Real ownership over client, partner, and ambassador relationships — not just observation First-hand exposure to how a global fintech builds market entry strategy in an emerging market A strong reference and potential pathway to a full-time role based on performance Certificate of completion and letter of recommendation
