About the role

As a Case Manager in our Family Based Care team, you will work alongside children, young people, their carers, and families to create and carry out case plans that promote permanency and align with the best interests of each child or young person. You’ll also collaborate closely with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) and other key services to ensure all support aligns with case plans and court directives. In this role, you'll be instrumental in promoting quality practice, and ensuring the safety, stability, and wellbeing of children and young people in care.

This position is based within Mornington Peninsula, Bass Straights region with some travel to Metro Melbourne, with a hybrid (Work from home/on-site) work arrangement. Regular travel is a requirement of the position, and a fully maintained company vehicle (including personal use) will be provided to the successful applicant.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, VIC Working with Children Check and registration on the VIC Residential Carer Workers register (WCES)
