Cloud Developer (backend / node.js)

Apply for this Position →

At Luscii, we build digital health platforms that create space for care. Our technology supports patients, clinicians and healthcare systems worldwide, and reaches millions through OMRON Connect. We are not actively hiring right now for a role as such, but we are always interested in connecting with strong Cloud Developers with a strong background in the combination of Cloud (AWS) and Node.js for future opportunities within Luscii/OMRON. If we do see a (potential) match, we will definitely explore the possibilities together.

As a Cloud Developer at Luscii, you will work on cloud and backend systems that operate at scale within an event-driven, serverless-first architecture and directly shape how digital healthcare is delivered globally, including within the AWS serverless ecosystem. In this role, you design and build secure, highly available and scalable services that support complex clinical workflows. You collaborate closely with engineers, product designers and other experts to turn real-world care challenges into reliable, production-ready solutions. You could also play an active role in architectural decisions and the long-term evolution of our platform.

Your work enables large-scale remote patient monitoring and helps healthcare professionals reduce administrative burden so they can focus more on patients. We operate in a remote-first, holacratic environment. That means ownership is not assigned, it is taken. You are trusted to own responsibilities, contribute beyond your scope and move things forward where you see impact.

As said - we are not actively hiring or recruiting for this or similar positions at the moment, but we are always open to connecting with people who could be a strong fit down the line. If we do see any opportunities, we will act on it!

You’d fit right in if you are comfortable taking ownership and making well-considered decisions independently. You enjoy the autonomy to shape your work and responsibilities, while actively seeking collaboration and alignment with others. You know when to step up, when to involve colleagues, and when to move forward decisively. Working independently does not mean working in isolation for you. You feel at ease being both a self-starter and a committed team player, contributing to shared goals while taking responsibility for your own domain. You value open communication, transparency and mutual trust.
