Position Summary We are seeking a full-time Electrocardiograph (EKG) Technician based in Houston, TX, for a remote position. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, clinically skilled, and passionate about improving patient outcomes through accurate data review and exceptional service. You'll play a vital role in analyzing ECG data, communicating findings to physicians, and supporting patients in the use of Artella's monitoring devices. Comprehensive training and ongoing clinical support are provided.
Responsibilities
• Review, analyze, and interpret ECG data using Artella's proprietary quality analysis tools within established timelines.
• Notify physicians promptly of patient EKG findings per notification protocols.
• Contact patients to assess symptoms associated with urgent or symptomatic rhythms.
• Send finalized reports to practices or hospitals as requested.
• Assist patients with supply orders, education, and device troubleshooting.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clinical team members and external partners.
• Ensure all professional certifications remain current.
• Represent Artella with professionalism and empathy in every interaction.
• Participate in scheduled rotations including two weekend shifts per month and holiday coverage as assigned.
Requirements
• Experience in Cardiac Monitoring, Cardiology, or Telemetry
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Comfort working with medical technology and remote monitoring tools
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
• Certification or formal training as an Electrocardiograph Technician (required)
