Key Responsibilities:
- Connect directly with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription approvals, resolve customer issues, and clarify order requests
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues to determine appropriate solutions for customers and center partners, and follow up on a case-by-case basis to resolve issues
- Complete data entry of prescriptions into arenaflex healthcare software
- Maintain a high level of quality through data entry and order processing of veterinary pharmacy orders
- Work with empathy, undivided attention, patience, compassion, and kindness to customers and partners alike
- Communicate with veterinary facilities via phone (and occasionally other stations on a case-by-case basis) with various topics, primarily using our internal program and systems to navigate arrangements and record center note accounts
- Expect a significant part of the typical business day to be outbound veterinary center/client phone contacts
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- 2 years of experience working in a customer or healthcare-focused environment
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Ability to multitask (e.g., chat on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes)
- Work with ownership, be a self-starter, and demonstrate attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
- High school education or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy where applicable
- Critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to change according to the business needs of the organization
- Flexibility to adjust schedule and stay at work longer than required as needed by the specialty unit
- Must demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
- Must be able to pass a background check
