**Key Responsibilities**
As a Remote Healthcare Data Entry Representative, you'll play a critical role in our medical records and claims processing team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Accurately and efficiently entering medical data into our systems, including patient information, medical history, and treatment plans
* Reviewing and processing new cases, including medical reviews, claims, and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
* Utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel to create and edit documents, including converting files to PDF format and inserting tables
* Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure the secure handling of sensitive patient information
* Collaborating with our team to resolve any data entry errors or discrepancies
* Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in healthcare data management
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A strong background in healthcare, including experience working in a healthcare facility or with medical records
* Excellent data entry skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter large volumes of data
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
* Experience working with medical claims, EOBs, and diagnosis codes
* Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and column insertion
* Certification in medical coding or a related field

**Compensation, Perks, and Benefits**
