About the Role
The Finance Assistant provides essential support to the Finance team throughaccuratebookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial processing activities.
This role is suited to an individual with foundational accounting experience who is ready to take on greater responsibility inday-to-dayfinancial operations.
The position focuses on strengthening technical accounting capability, improving efficiency in financial workflows, and contributing totimelyandaccuratefinancial reporting.
Your Responsibilities
- Assistwith accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuringtimelyandaccuratetransactions.
- Assistin the preparation of working papers.
- Assistwithend-of-month reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Provide assistancein managing supplier and service provider relationships.
- Support payroll processing forModoras' internal operations.
- Collaborate with the finance supervisor tomaintainproper structure and oversight of financial operations
Your Background
- Graduated or currently studying Accounting,Financeor related degree.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communicationskills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
