About the role
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Finance Manager to independently manage our financial operations. If you have solid knowledge of German accounting and tax regulations, enjoy a hands-on approach, and are fluent in both German and English, we would love to hear from you!

We’re looking for someone who is ready to make all our finance and accounting efforts count! You will be working alongside our Chief of Staff and the Management Team. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and make meaningful improvements to our financial and accounting processes while keeping the wheel spinning with day-to-day operations. You can be trusted with all financial information and know how to bring them to the next level
You have extensive experience in running the preparatory bookkeeping in DATEV
Accounts Payable – Booking, checking, and paying supplier invoices
Accounts Receivable – Preparing 200+ monthly customer invoices, booking payments, and following up on overdue payments
Preparatory tasks for tax declarations and ensuring timely submission to the tax advisor
Working closely with the tax advisor for financial year-end closing
Conducting financial analyses to identify trends and risks and provide strategic financial insights to management
Budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with the Chief of Staff
Ensuring internal controls and compliance with legal regulations
Working with tax advisors and supporting audits
Requirements
Requirements:
Extensive experience in German accounting and tax regulations
Financial analysis and reporting skills are important
Strong, proven experience with DATEV (preparatory bookkeeping in DATEV is essential)
Experience in working with Salesforce is a big plus
Analytical and structured mindset with great attention to detail
Independent working style and ability to set priorities
Experience in controlling is an advantage
Interest in new technologies and continuous learning
Proactive, collaborative and agile working style
Fluent in German and English
