- Publix seeks a NoSQL Database Engineer who will implement, maintain the environment, and empower development teams' adoption of NoSQL databases.
- As a member of this technology team, you will have an opportunity to influence architecture & design across enterprise/cross-functional teams in a high-paced environment, participate in understanding customer/associate feedback to resolve or improve technical issues and develop, own, and drive implementation of the technology roadmap for Enterprise solutions.
- On this team we are seeking a technical candidate with strong analytical, design, engineering, planning, and problem-solving skills as well as strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. The most suitable candidate will be able to communicate effectively with management, peers, and various development teams.

Potential Annual Pay with Bonus

Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month's extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above

Required Qualifications
- BA or BS in Computer Science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years' experience with all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Minimum of 2 years IT experience in managing production and scaled systems, ideally with databases and NoSQL technologies.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience implementing any one of the NoSQL databases MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra
- Minimum of 1 year experience in using python and shell script.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps, automation pipelines CI/CD
- Ability to engage with other teams and acquire technical knowledge to solve business problems
- Experience in large enterprise environments involving multiple technical teams
- Strong technical understanding of any of the programming languages C#, Java
- Experience working with ansible automation
- Experience working with Terraform modules
- Experience working with Kubernetes environments
