We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Management Accountant to join our small, dynamic finance team for a 6-month fixed term contract. There is the possibility this position could become permanent.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will support our daily financial operations and assist the Finance Manager with month-end processes. Your main tasks will include:
Month-End Support: Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, including processing accruals, prepayments,and balance sheet reconciliations.
Revenue Calculations: Calculation of Deferred and Accrued revenue.
Reconciliations: Reconciling customer payments efficiently within Xero.
Invoicing: Creating and managing customer invoices using our billing platform, Stripe.
Credit Control: Conducting proactive credit control and cash collection activities to ensure healthy cash flow.
Ledger Management: Managing the purchase ledger and processing supplier invoices accurately.
Other ad hoc tasks as required
Skills & Qualifications
Required
Part qualified or fully qualified Accountant: willing to consider qualified by experience candidates.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor your style to different audiences.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial task execution.
Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan ahead, work independently with minimal supervision, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Deadline-Driven: Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight month-end deadlines without compromising on accuracy.
Desirable
Hands-on experience using Xero and/or Stripe.
Prior experience working within a small, agile accounts or finance team.
