This role involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of Toyota Hilux vehicles, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fitting, specifically with Toyota vehicles and be capable of working independently in remote locations.
Qualifications & experience
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Toyota Hilux vehicles.
Conduct routine servicing and inspections to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on vehicles.
Manage stock levels and ensure spare parts are available for timely repairs.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including hot work permit requirements and confined space regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records using Skytrust and other designated systems.
Selection Criteria
3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably with FIFO.
Proven experience working with Toyota vehicles, specifically Toyota Hilux.
Experience in auto electrical work (Auto Sparky).
Certificate III or above in a relevant mechanical trade.
Hot Work Permit.
4WD Operation Certification.
Confined Space Entry Certification.
Senior First Aid Certification.
Must be available to work on a 2/2 roster in remote locations.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
