Marcus Advisory is a growing fractional CFO and finance consulting firm supporting founder-led and growth-stage companies.
We are looking for an organized, proactive Operations Coordinator to support the firm's day-to-day operations. This role combines executive assistant responsibilities with internal operations and client support.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and enjoys helping a small business run efficiently behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize the CFO's calendar across multiple clients
Schedule meetings and coordinate follow-ups
Track client deliverables and deadlines
Prepare agendas and meeting notes
Manage invoicing and contractor payments
Coordinate vendor relationships and subscriptions
Assist with recruiting and onboarding
Support proposal creation and formatting
Maintain SOPs and internal documentation
Required
Excellent written and verbal English
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience supporting executives, founders, or small businesses
Comfortable working across multiple priorities simultaneously
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
High level of discretion and professionalism
Strong sense of ownership and follow-through
Nice to Have
Experience in consulting, finance, or professional services
Familiarity with QuickBooks, Ramp, or Gusto
Experience with project management tools such as Asana, ClickUp, Monday, or Notion
Experience coordinating remote teams or contractors
Hours
10-15 hours per week initially, with opportunity to grow.
