About the Role: ML Data Specialist (Data Scientist)
We are seeking a talented and motivated ML Data Specialist to join our Product and User Analytics team within the Advertising Platforms Data Experiences group. This is a part-time, remote-friendly position based in Austin, TX, offering competitive compensation at $25/hour for up to 8 hours daily.
In this critical role, you'll serve as a vital member of a data-driven team dedicated to driving the analysis, evaluation, development, implementation, and optimization of machine learning solutions that are essential to sustaining and growing our business. What You'll Do
As an ML Data Specialist at arenaflex, your contributions will directly shape how millions of users discover content and how businesses grow on our platforms. Here's what you can expect:
- Transform Complex Data into Actionable Insights: You'll analyze vast datasets generated from user behavior, app content, and store interactions to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities that drive strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications

- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Advanced degrees (Master's or PhD) are a strong plus.
- Professional Experience: At least 6 years of professional experience in data science, preferably in digital advertising, product analytics, or e-commerce environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience working with large-scale datasets.
- Data Engineering Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS), data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks), and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker).
- Analytical Expertise: Solid foundation in statistical analysis, including regression, classification, clustering, and time-series forecasting methods.
- Experience with Clickstream Data: Familiarity with analyzing user behavior data from digital platforms and A/B testing methodologies.
