Day-to-Day Job Duties
:(What this person will do on a daily/weekly basis
• )Lead the migration of enterprise Power BI environments from Fixed Capacity to Microsoft Fabric architecture
• .Design, optimize, and maintain scalable Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and Fabric-based analytics solutions
• .Perform advanced DAX optimization and query tuning activities across Formula Engine and Storage Engine workloads
• .Analyze and optimize Vertipaq models, segment compression, cardinality, data types, partitioning, and query execution plans to improve performance and reduce latency
• .Implement and optimize Direct Lake architectures and Fabric-native storage strategies
• .Drive Microsoft Fabric optimization initiatives including data compaction, parquet file optimization, caching strategies, and workload performance improvements
• .Develop and maintain SQL and Python-based solutions supporting reporting, transformation, automation, and analytics initiatives
• .Lead offshore development and support workstreams while managing aggressive timelines and delivery expectations
• .Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions and DevOps best practices
• .Collaborate directly with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to define scalable reporting and analytics solutions
• .Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and client enablement around Microsoft Fabric capabilities and best practices
• .Conduct performance assessments and deliver actionable recommendations to improve enterprise BI and Fabric platform efficiency
• .Support governance, release management, and production deployment activities for enterprise reporting environments
• .Participate in client workshops, architecture reviews, and knowledge transfer sessions
