Job Description:
• Lead engineering decisions and provide technical leadership within the GenAI team
• Research technological patterns, technologies, and products, and assess third-party and open source tools to shape the strategic GenAI and ML platform roadmap
• Experiment with emerging technologies with a rigorous focus on business value, and generate Enterprise scale solutions and capabilities
• Design effective solutions with well understood tradeoffs that meet business requirements, adapting to changing priorities and proposing new approaches for a fast-changing environment
• Partner with architecture and security to apply Empower security controls and guidelines in design and implementation, and consult with production teams delivering solutions for the platform
• Improve development processes, culture, and tools, including designing and developing CI/CD automated delivery pipelines, working iteratively and transparently, and mentoring engineers across geographically dispersed teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including AI and machine learning
• Deep experience with cloud platforms and native capabilities across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Proven experience designing, building, and delivering emerging technologies, including AI/ML, using serverless (Lambda with event sources) and microservices
• Strong software engineering skills, including object-oriented programming in at least one language (Java, C#, Ruby, Python) and experience with a high-level language and web framework (NodeJS with Express, Hapi, or similar)
• Experience with cloud architecture patterns/frameworks (for example AWS Well Architected Framework), DevOps processes and tools, automated testing, modern integrations (API Gateway/Web Services, messaging, REST, plus exposure to SOAP), and working knowledge of web technologies and AWS databases (RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache) including schema design.
