What is a Product Owner?

The Product Owner is responsible for defining, designing, and driving the development and management of the features and functionality of the products and services within their assigned portfolio. This cross functional position plays a vital role on a product scrum team and is accountable for creating and

implementing differentiated digital and data product and service strategies, pilots, and offerings to best position the company. Working closely with members of the department and business leaders from across GoodLife, this role focuses on creating and executing a plan that will bring the long-term vision for the selected products and services to life. The Product Owner works closely with the scrum team to review user stories, make key decisions, negotiate trade-offs, ensure delivery of business value, and provide ultimate

acceptance of developed features end to end. They support readiness and adoption strategies to ensure successful delivery to market, apply critical thinking to solve complex customer problems, and ensure adherence to budgets. The Product Owner cares passionately about GoodLife’s Members and Associates, the actual customers of their products, and through frequent engagement they develop a deep understanding of usage patterns and user experience. They are customer-obsessed leaders for their customer-facing digital

products and services and are accountable for their success.

Compensation:

It is expected that the selected candidate will start at a base salary of $86,000. This position is eligible for bonuses in addition to the base salary. The annual range of expected compensation for the position is $86,000 - $110,000 determined by performance, time in the position and variable compensation earned.
