Profile Requirements:
Min 2.5 Years of Proven Experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, driver recruiting, dispatching, or fleet operations
Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and driver qualification requirements
Experience reviewing MVRs and driver qualification files
Familiarity with CDL requirements, drug testing programs, and compliance standards
Experience recruiting drivers through job boards and online recruiting platforms
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Experience coordinating schedules and transportation operations
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and transportation software
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Core responsibilities:
Source and recruit qualified 1099 drivers using job boards, recruiting platforms, social media, referrals, and industry networks
Screen and qualify driver candidates based on company requirements and FMCSA regulations
Review MVRs, driving history, employment records, and qualification documentation
Verify that drivers meet all FMCSA requirements and company standards
Coordinate pre-employment and random drug testing requirements
Confirm CDL status, driving experience, endorsements, and eligibility requirements
Assist with driver onboarding and orientation processes
Maintain accurate driver records and compliance documentation
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified owner-operators and drivers
Reach out to potential shippers, brokers, and customers to generate owner-operator opportunities
Assist with business development efforts to secure new transportation contracts
Coordinate pickup schedules, delivery schedules, and transportation logistics
Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, loads, routes, and operational updates
Monitor driver availability and assist with load coverage planning
Handle customer communication regarding scheduling and transportation updates
Maintain operational spreadsheets, reports, and transportation records
Assist with dispatch coordination and daily transportation operations
Follow up with drivers, customers, and prospects to ensure smooth service delivery
Identify opportunities to improve recruiting, onboarding, and operational processes
