They are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Account Executive (Producer) to generate new business, develop client relationships, and grow a profitable book of business across commercial and personal lines.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, centers of influence, networking, and targeted sales activity
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities across commercial and personal lines
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients and prospects by understanding risk exposures and recommending appropriate insurance solutions
- Partner with account management and service teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process and high-quality ongoing client service
- Drive profitable growth with a focus on desirable client segments and strong underwriting discipline
- Maintain an active presence in the marketplace and represent Tropolis professionally in the community
- Support renewal strategy, client retention, and cross sell opportunities within the book
- Maintain compliance with all licensing, carrier, and regulatory requirements
- Stay current on carrier appetite, underwriting requirements, and industry changes impacting commercial property and casualty clients
Skills
- Proven success in insurance sales, business development, or producer roles
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines, personal lines, or both
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, build relationships, and close new business
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong accountability for results
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Active insurance license required, or ability to obtain promptly if applicable
- Applied Epic experience
