As an Analytics Manager at arenaflex, you will serve as a key partner to our leadership and marketing teams, leveraging your expertise in business intelligence, data analysis, and paid media optimization to deliver measurable business impact. This is a remote position offering competitive compensation of $23/hour, providing flexibility while allowing you to make a significant contribution to our organization's success.
What You'll Do
As part of our analytics center of excellence, you will play a critical role in surfacing data-driven strategic opportunities for our executive leadership team. Your work will focus on optimizing our paid media investment globally, identifying efficiencies, and developing robust reporting frameworks that drive informed decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Paid Media Analytics & Reporting: Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive reporting and insights in the realm of paid media, ensuring stakeholders have access to timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence to guide strategic decisions.
- BI & Data Science Innovation: Lead the development and enhancement of analysis, business intelligence, and data science initiatives aimed at maximizing the effectiveness of our paid media investments and improving overall marketing efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with paid media data scientists and marketing teams to implement sophisticated media mix models that optimize channel allocation and campaign performance.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct spontaneous analysis through database querying, followed by rapid interpretation of results and the formulation and communication of actionable recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with marketing, finance, and data product teams to address complex business challenges, track marketing and product performance, and maintain a data-driven approach to all business initiatives.
- Reporting & Visualization: Leverage Structured Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, QuickSight, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports that tell compelling data stories.
- Root Cause Analysis: Analyze data to identify business issues and lead deep-dive investigations to perform thorough root cause analysis, translating findings into practical recommendations.
- Data Integration: Work collaboratively with partners to synthesize internal data from various arenaflex platforms alongside external market research and advertising data to address complex business challenges and deliver meaningful insights.
- Customer Insights Generation: Conceptualize and execute analysis projects that generate insights into customer behavior and customer needs, supporting the continued development and improvement of our value proposition.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Substantial experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting within an e-commerce environment or related industry.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL with demonstrated ability to write complex queries and manipulate large datasets.
- Advanced experience with at least one industry-leading analysis and statistics visualization tool such as Tableau, QuickSight, or PowerBI.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a proven track record of creating complex models, pivot tables, and data visualizations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to scope complex issues, identify relevant questions, extract meaningful data, and provide actionable insights.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to effectively convey complex findings to both business leadership and technical teams.

- Strong results orientation with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to execute responsibilities and complete projects with minimal guidance and tight deadlines.
- Experience working in subscription-based, recruitment, or media content organizations.
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art data science methodologies and a desire to continue learning and expanding expertise in this area.
- Programming knowledge including Python and/or other programming languages such as Java or C#.
- Experience with statistical programming languages such as R or SAS.
- Knowledge of Adobe Analytics or similar web analytics platforms.
- Experience with media mix modeling, attribution modeling, or marketing mix optimization.
