As a Business Development Representative, you will drive outbound prospecting efforts, qualify opportunities, and set up meetings for the sales team, leveraging AI tools to enhance outreach effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Drive high-volume outbound prospecting across assigned US regions — through email, phone, social, and events — identifying and qualifying the right opportunities at the right accounts
- Follow up on marketing-generated leads rapidly and with purpose, using structured discovery to qualify need and move prospects forward
- Research target accounts, buying centres, and stakeholders to build tailored outreach sequences — leveraging AI-driven tools to sharpen relevance and lift response rates
- Set up high-quality first meetings and demos for the sales team, handing over clean context: pain points, stakeholders, and clear next steps
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers on territory and account planning, aligning outreach priorities and feeding back market intelligence
- Partner with Marketing to share insights from the field and help sharpen messaging and campaign performance over time
- Keep CRM and sales engagement tools up to date — accurate data, tracked activity, and clean pipeline progression
Skills
- 2+ years in a sales, business development, or SDR/BDR role — ideally in B2B SaaS or hospitality technology
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage senior decision-makers from the first conversation
- Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce and sales engagement tools like Apollo or HubSpot
- A proven ability to stay organised and maintain quality at volume — lots of activity, without losing focus on the outcome
- Experience in hospitality, travel, or technology — you'll hit the ground running if you already speak the language
- Prior experience in a B2B SaaS environment and familiarity with structured sales methodologies (BANT, MEDDIC, or similar)
