Life Science Connect (LSC) is a community-driven data-enabled media and engagement platform serving professionals across the life sciences industry. The role involves overseeing email marketing operations, ensuring effective campaign fulfillment, and maintaining compliance to drive revenue from the audience of life science professionals.
Responsibilities
- Own commercial list management and “smart circulations” that auto‑refresh and maintain strict hygiene
- Execute audience segmentation for advertiser campaigns
- Manage sponsored sends, co‑reg programs, and all list‑based fulfillment with rigorous QC
- Define and enforce cross‑portfolio sending rules to prevent fatigue
- Maintain suppression integrity across all systems with zero tolerance for errors
- Coordinate a unified sending calendar across brands and teams
- Oversee templates, deployment, QA, and A/B testing across the newsletter portfolio
- Implement dynamic content capabilities and mobile‑first rendering standards
- Build and maintain performance benchmarks and share actionable insights
- Standardize pre‑send QA: seed tests, rendering checks, spam filtering, link validation
- Monitor inbox placement, reputation, bounces, and complaints
- Ensure personalization logic is correct before every send
- Run end‑to‑end fulfillment for sponsored newsletters, promotions, and content‑driven campaigns
- Establish SLAs and repeatable workflows that ensure consistency and high‑quality delivery
- Oversee and integrate programmatic digital advertising operations
- Produce reporting packages that validate delivery, performance, and contracted fulfillment
- Lead quarterly circulation audits and provide transparent documentation to support renewals
Skills
- 5+ years in email operations, campaign fulfillment, or circulation management
- Deep knowledge of deliverability, segmentation, and large-scale newsletter operations
- Proven ability to build operational processes
- Proven experience in leading a marketing team
- Experience in B2B media or publishing strongly preferred
- Expertise with marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred)
- Background in life sciences, healthcare, or complex B2B industries is a plus
