They are seeking an eDiscovery Consultant to serve as the primary interface between clients, trial counsel, and technology professionals, assisting with eDiscovery strategy, data collection, and trial preparation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary day-to-day advisor and point of contact for clients, outside counsel, and internal technology professionals on eDiscovery matters
- Develop and execute defensible eDiscovery strategies across the matter lifecycle, including preservation, collection, processing, review, production, and trial preparation
- Advise clients and counsel on discovery protocols, legal holds, data preservation obligations, search methodologies, review workflows, privilege considerations, and production specifications
- Translate legal objectives and client requirements into clear technical instructions for project managers
- Provide training, guidance, and practical support to clients and counsel on eDiscovery tools, workflows, and best practices
- Manage multiple active matters simultaneously while maintaining responsiveness, accuracy, confidentiality, defensibility, and a high level of client service
Skills
- A JD from a highly regarded law school
- At least 3 years of civil litigation experience including experience with discovery workflows and best practices, discovery protocols, and motions to compel
- Located in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area
- Experience in the construction or energy industries
