Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Jugl is an AI-powered omnichannel customer experience and ticketing platform. The Founding Account Executive will take a product with real market pull and make it systematic, scalable, and repeatable, partnering directly with the CEO and co-founders on positioning, pricing, and market strategy.
Responsibilities
- Run deals from first conversation through close across mid-market and enterprise accounts
- Identify high-potential accounts from inbound demand, enable champions, and turn organic adoption into commercial deals
- Build and nurture channels including the Shopify ecosystem, agencies, BPOs, and integration partners (helpdesk, commerce, telephony)
- Map usage to identify adjacent teams and channels, arm champions with business cases, and drive expansion
- Use signup and usage data to build a scoring system that prioritizes high-intent accounts
- Manage IT, security, and procurement stakeholders, handle security questionnaires, and negotiate contracts
- Collaborate on positioning, objection handling, competitive differentiation, and pricing
- Build the foundation of the GTM team by creating templates, sequences, talk tracks, and deal-stage definitions
Skills
- 2+ years of experience in full-cycle sales (early-stage B2B SaaS, CX/support software, or commerce/productivity)
- Experience as a founding AE or early GTM hire
- Understanding of PLG-to-SLG, land-and-expand strategies, and champion enablement
- Experience (or a strong desire) to build channel, agency, or co-sell relationships
- Use of CRM tools, pipeline management, and AI-powered workflows
- Ability to tailor messages to various stakeholders (founders, ops, IT, CTOs) with clarity and empathy
- High sense of ownership and ability to fix what is broken
- US citizenship
- Experience selling CX, support, or conversational AI
- Existing relationships in the Shopify ecosystem
- Experience building a partner/channel program from scratch
- Familiarity with usage-based or hybrid pricing models
- A network in the startup, VC, or enterprise IT ecosystem
