Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ezCater is the leading food for work technology company in the US, connecting anyone who needs food for their workplace to over 100,000 restaurants nationwide. They are seeking a Marketing Development Representative to help scale their Enterprise business by qualifying leads, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and improving lead conversion rates.
Responsibilities
- Qualify leads from form fills, events and content downloads by quickly following up via calls and emails
- Effectively hand off leads to sales and implementation teams to help ensure a great customer experience
- Write and deploy 1:1 email communications to leads captured through marketing channels
- Maintain a laser focus on our qualified lead conversion rate, surfacing ideas to continually improve time to contact and meeting rate
- Share learnings from prospect interactions, using that knowledge to improve our lead nurture strategy and provide valuable insights to both sales and marketing teams
- Attend trade shows and events on behalf of ezCater, capturing and following up with prospective clients in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Demand Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, and Product Marketing
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in a B2B sales or marketing role
- Willingness to travel and work trade shows and events on behalf of ezCater
- Exposure to B2B lead generation programs
- Experience working with Sales organizations
- Basic understanding of lead generation
- Ability to write effective prospect-facing email communications
- A go-getter attitude with confidence holding conversations with potential ezCater clients
- Experience working in a CRM, specifically Salesforce, is a plus!
- Equal parts creativity and technical prowess. Be fluent enough to do the basics yourself, and articulate enough to communicate what you need to the experts on our creative and analytics teams
