A 40-year-old company, recently backed by one of the largest private equity firms, has spun off a 300-person division to accelerate growth and expand into new markets. With the stability of a large company but the energy of a startup, we are building out a Payments Sales team and hiring Payment Sales Specialists to support a rapidly growing part of the business.
This is a quota-carrying, overlay role embedded within the sales process. In this role, you will partner with Account Executives and convert warm, inbound opportunities into closed business.

• Stability: The sales organization has an average tenure of 13 years, reflecting a strong, team-oriented culture
• Sales Motion: No traditional hunting — you will receive ~30–35 inbound/internal leads per month and focus on converting them at a high close rate (~20–25 deals/month)

• $100K–$110K base, $130K–$150K OTE

Qualifications
• 2–5+ years of B2B sales experience in merchant services, payment processing, or fintech
• Experience closing a high volume of deals in a transactional sales environment
• Experience supporting or partnering with a field/outside sales team (overlay or channel model)
• Ability to conduct merchant statement analysis and position cost savings effectively
• Strong communication and collaboration skills — this role requires earning trust with internal sales partners
