The HR Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting daily People Operations by managing high-volume administrative processes and ensuring accurate execution of employee lifecycle activities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, draft, and distribute HR documentation, including offer letters, employment verifications, and promotion/compensation letters
- Manage employee record updates (status changes, compensation adjustments, PT/FT transitions)
- Support onboarding and offboarding logistics, ensuring timely documentation and readiness
- Administer and respond to inquiries through the HR inbox, routing requests as needed
- Process system entries and requests for new hires and employee changes in HR and internal systems (e.g., Samsara, SVB, Homebase, Absorb, Microsoft, Absorb LMS, ADP, Homebase)
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all HR platforms
- Execute HR transactions across multiple systems following approvals
- Manage 'behind-the-scenes' administrative workflows to enable HR leadership to focus on strategy and communication
- Prepare onboarding workflows and ensure system readiness ahead of employee start dates
- Coordinate cross-functional requests with payroll, finance, and IT and track key milestones, including anniversaries and performance review cycles
- Trigger workflows and ensure timely completion of recurring HR processes
Skills
- 1+ years of experience in HR, operations, or administrative support roles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage high-volume tasks independently
- Experience working with HR systems (ADP preferred) and multiple platforms simultaneously
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize competing requests
- Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
