[Remote] Product Designer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Avenue Code is a consultancy company seeking a Product Designer with a service design mindset. In this role, you will collaborate with a team to design and develop products, translating ideas into actionable designs while balancing user and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to define project goals and contribute to actionable design strategies
• Create service blueprints, information architecture diagrams, data flows, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for assigned projects
• Assist with requirements gathering to ensure business needs are documented for the development team
• Support and participate in workshops and presentations of design concepts to stakeholders and developers
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and help inform design decisions
• Contribute to DSI’s design systems and component libraries, helping to maintain consistency in design language and brand guidelines

Skills

• 8+ years of total experience with 4+ years of experience in product design, service design, or UI/UX with a portfolio showing work across digital platforms (iOS, web, or similar)
• Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of digital products, including design, launch, and ongoing maintenance, with close collaboration alongside product managers and engineers to ensure continuous improvement and user satisfaction
• Experience mapping data flows across complex systems and a strong understanding of how data inputs can be utilized to drive the user experience
• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, or similar design tools
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex system operations and design concepts through prototypes, sketches, and presentations
• Experience working in an iterative design process and openness to group critique
• Demonstrated creative and innovative problem-solving and a willingness to take the lead where needed
• A passion and eye for visual detail in proportion, type, motion, and interaction
• Empathy for users and the ability to facilitate cross-functional alignment, advocating for both the user experience and the broader service ecosystem
• Passionate for Apple, its products, and its customers
• Strength in building new products from the ground up
• Collaborative mindset and a desire to help the team succeed
• Exposure to enterprise software environments
