Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Somnia is a hyper-performance L1 network facilitating the development of decentralized products in the Web3 space. The Product Marketing Manager for DreamDEX will oversee the positioning, messaging, and growth strategies for the platform, ensuring it resonates with professional traders and communities while leading go-to-market initiatives and competitive analysis.
Responsibilities
- Own positioning, messaging, and narrative for DreamDEX
- Own positioning and messaging for DreamDEX across its core retail audiences: alpha groups, trading communities and professional traders
- Craft a differentiation story grounded in real product strengths such as CEX-grade execution onchain, zero protocol fees, yield-bearing collateral & native agent support
- Simplify a deeply technical product narrative: explain how the platform works for both professional traders and for traders coming onchain for the first time
- Lead GTM for new launches, product capabilities, and ecosystem features, from brief through to post-launch measurement
- Build repeatable launch playbooks consolidating learnings across channels - KOLs, events, community, content, social and PR
- Partner with Product to shape the roadmap based on user insights, customer feedback and community trends for maximum launch impact and efficiency
- Be the team’s expert on the onchain derivatives, CLOB landscape, and emerging platforms - including trends, trader insights and market takeaways
- Turn that intelligence into positioning, product recommendations, and growth tactics
- Track sentiment and report on how DreamDEX is perceived by trading communities, retail, and professional traders
- Scale the DreamDEX distribution engine through growth and retention tactics such as community leaderboards, yield based rebates, and referral mechanics
- Establish DreamDEX as the default venue for professional capital onchain; drive awareness and education of what it enables and deliver on adoption goals
- Support BD team with key assets - decks, one-pagers, proof points that win market makers, institutional desks, and KOLs
Skills
- 5-7 years in product marketing or a closely related role, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Web3, or a consumer fintech/trading product
- Experience with retail trading products or exchanges, and a genuine understanding of how order books, derivatives/perps work
- Proven ability to own positioning and messaging for a product or protocol and execute GTM campaigns across channels
- Track record of leading product launches end to end, with measurable results
- Strong grasp of crypto-native culture and communities, including X, Discord, and Web3 platforms
- Highly analytical, comfortable defining and tracking growth, retention, and adoption metrics
- Excellent writer who can simplify complex technical concepts into compelling narratives
- Comfortable operating hands-on in a fast-moving environment with significant ownership
- Worked at or marketed a perps or retail trading platform, or exchange (CEX or DEX)
- Experience marketing both a consumer finance product and pro-trader product
- Familiarity with rewards and tokenomics programmes in Web3
- An existing network across retail trading, KOLs, or the broader crypto trading community
