VetsEZ is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead Agile software development teams supporting DevSecOps initiatives for the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end oversight of assigned projects, guiding cross functional teams through large scale initiatives or key components of complex programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of application and system projects from intake through delivery using SAFe DevSecOps frameworks
- Lead Agile Scrum teams, ensuring alignment across products, deliverables, and project timelines
- Collaborate with technical leads to support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure modernization efforts
- Develop and manage project schedules using Agile project management methodologies and tools
- Provide regular reporting on project milestones, risks, blockers, and escalation needs
- Present project plans, roadmaps, and progress updates to VA leadership and key stakeholders
- Coordinate across teams and stakeholders to manage dependencies, risks, and competing priorities
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of experience managing IT projects, including risk identification and mitigation
- Strong experience leading complex projects in Agile environments (SAFe preferred)
- Proven ability to communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to executive stakeholders
- Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- PMP, SAFe, or equivalent project management certification preferred
- Experience supporting federal government or VA projects is highly preferred
- Familiarity with DevSecOps environments and CI/CD processes
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
