They are seeking a Reconciliations/Operations Accountant to support daily cash reconciliations and operational accounting in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cash reconciliations and support additional cash-related activities
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with assigned account reconciliations and month-end support
- Document standard operating procedures and operational workflows
- Create and maintain process documentation with version control
- Prepare reports and fulfill internal data requests
- Analyze business processes and recommend operational improvements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of two years of accounting, operations, business analysis, or process improvement experience
- Cash reconciliation experience is required
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data analysis, and reporting
- Experience performing account reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records
- Background in financial reporting, data analysis, and operational reporting
- Experience documenting business processes, workflows, and operational procedures
- Ability to develop, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams
- Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote work environment
- Collaborative team player with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Financial services industry experience
