Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Custom AI Solutions, LLC is a fast-growing startup seeking a Sales and Business Development Lead to spearhead their sales efforts. In this role, you will build your own pipeline, engage directly with decision-makers, and shape the sales process as the company grows.
Responsibilities
- Build and work your own pipeline. Identify targets, find the right decision-makers, and go after them across phone, email, and LinkedIn. We have a starting list of target organizations
- Run discovery conversations and qualify real opportunities, not just set appointments
- Close deals where you are able, with full support from the team when you need it
- Shape the outreach process, messaging, and sales playbook as we grow. Your feedback directly changes how we operate
- Help us decide who we hire next and how the department scales
Skills
- A self-starter who builds pipeline from scratch and does not need leads handed to them
- Comfort with ambiguity and a genuine pull toward building something rather than plugging into a machine
- Strong, persuasive communicator who is confident opening cold conversations with senior decision-makers
- Resilient, independent, and motivated by ownership and upside
- Based in Arizona and authorized to work in the U.S
- Full-cycle or closing experience
- Experience with CRM tools like Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or VoIP systems
- Familiarity with NEMT, SaaS, fleet, transportation, or call center industries
