They are seeking a Sales Engineer for Industrial Products to manage sales and customer support for Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg, focusing on business development and strategic account management.
Responsibilities
- Great opportunity for development within the External Sales function
- Perform business development activities
- Direct Market penetration Belgium CPI (Chemicals Pharma Industry)
- Distribution: France, Tank Farms, and W2E (Waste to Energy)
- OEM: Europe Edible oils and Battery development
- Conduct regular client visits / contact in the identification of prospective business opportunities
- Attend in making both market and target customer strategies
- Contribute to the development of the business plan and support with both annual and monthly sales budget and objectives
Skills
- Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or equivalent (technical background required)
- 2+ years of experience in Chemical, Industrial, or Food Processing industries with background and knowledge on rotating equipment
- Inside or Outside sales experience is desired
- Knowledge of the chemical / industrial Market
- Fluent English is required, and ideally the selected candidate will also speak Dutch/Flemish and French
- Availability and willingness to travel to customer locations up to 60% of the time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High results oriented and analytical profile
- Application experience in rotating equipment
- Experience of formulating and implementing sales strategy
- Experience using CRM
- Strong interpersonal, commercial, organizational and time management skills
