Transformation Hospitality Solutions is seeking a Sales Manager responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales efforts for a Hilton branded hotel. The role involves developing new business, maintaining key accounts, and maximizing various opportunities in alignment with the hotel's annual business plan.
Responsibilities
- Proactively solicit, negotiate, and secure new and repeat business in assigned market segments to meet or exceed revenue goals
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead response, site inspections, contract negotiation, and account servicing
- Develop and execute strategic sales action plans aligned with the hotel’s business plan and Hilton brand initiatives
- Accurately prepare, present, and respond to RFPs, ensuring competitive positioning and value for both the client and the hotel
- Maintain an organized and up to date customer database, documenting all sales activities in designated sales systems
- Conduct regular outside sales calls, participate in sales blitzes, trade shows, and networking events as assigned
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, community organizations, CVBs, and industry partners
- Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize pricing strategies and maximize total hotel revenue
- Communicate client expectations and event details effectively to hotel operations, catering, and conference services teams
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies as needed
- Participate in daily business review meetings and weekly sales meetings
- Represent the hotel in a professional manner consistent with Hilton brand standards
Skills
- Minimum of 1–3 years of hotel sales experience
- Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close business
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong time-management and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative sales team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Full-service hotel experience strongly preferred
- Hilton brand experience and familiarity with Hilton sales systems (such as Delphi.fdc, OnQ, or related tools) preferred
