They are hiring a Staff / Senior Software Engineer to ship mission-critical systems from day one, focusing on architecting and building complex AI agents that automate operational workflows.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and launch complex multi-step AI agents that automate mission-critical operational workflows
- Integrate with third-party APIs to generate documents, produce automated underwriting results, and prevent fraud
- Build and scale job processing infrastructure on AWS for improved observability and reliability
- Design and scale complex relational DB schemas - performant storage, retrieval, and updates at enterprise scale
- Develop full-stack features from design through deployment, maintaining end-to-end type safety
- Mentor junior engineers in both technical and soft skills
Skills
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong TypeScript proficiency with hands-on examples of complex systems built recently
- Experience scaling high-throughput distributed systems on AWS with Terraform
- Full-stack: React frontend, Node/Express backend, GraphQL/Apollo, PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with modern AI product development - evals, experiment design, dataset curation
