The SEO Manager will design scalable acquisition strategies and connect organic visibility to business outcomes through data modeling and analytical insights.
Responsibilities
- Lead organic growth strategy across SEO/GEO/AEO, aligning priorities to business goals and measurable outcomes
- Build and maintain an opportunity and prioritization framework based on demand, intent, feasibility, and expected impact
- Establish measurement, reporting, and analytical frameworks that connect organic visibility to behavior, activation, and revenue contribution
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Content to deliver high-leverage improvements (crawlability, indexation, performance, structured data, templates)
- Strengthen performance in AI-driven discovery and answer experiences through entity clarity, content quality signals, and structured representation of expertise
- Communicate insights and recommendations with executive-ready clarity, ensuring consistent governance and cross-functional adoption
- Identify programmatic search initiatives that can be scaled across enterprise websites
Skills
- 5–8+ years in SEO/organic growth roles, with demonstrable impact on qualified acquisition, activation, and/or revenue
- Proven experience building and executing an organic growth strategy that goes beyond rankings—showing how work translated into pipeline/revenue, retention, or unit-economics improvements
- Ability to distill complex SEO data into high-impact, jargon-free narratives that provide fast, accurate solutions to client problems while building the long-term trust necessary to secure stakeholder buy-in for large-scale organic strategies
- Strong stakeholder management with Product, Engineering, Data/Analytics, and Content to ship changes in production environments
- Demonstrated ability to run structured experimentation programs (hypotheses, test design, success metrics, post-analysis, iteration) and turn learnings into repeatable systems
- Able to build a credible roadmap using impact/effort tradeoffs and quantitative opportunity sizing
- Ability to set and define content strategies for traditional search and LLM visibility
- Experience working hands-on with enterprise product and engineering teams
- Advanced proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, and tagging/instrumentation concepts (events, conversions, funnels, cohorts)
- Strong analytical capabilities: SQL (or equivalent) for data extraction and analysis
- Technical SEO competence: crawl/indexation diagnostics, site architecture, internal linking strategies, Core Web Vitals/performance fundamentals, and structured data
- Ability to design measurement and attribution approaches for organic (assisted conversions, incrementality thinking, leading indicators, cohort impact)
- Excellent communication skills, including executive-ready storytelling, clear documentation, and stakeholder alignment
- Log file analysis
- Familiarity with content systems and scaling methods: programmatic SEO, template-driven pages, taxonomy design, editorial standards, and content QA workflows
- Understanding of GEO/AEO principles: optimizing for AI-driven discovery and answer surfaces via entity clarity, topical authority signals, content reliability, and structured representation (schema and on-page semantics)
- Comfort collaborating in modern product/engineering environments (Jira/Linear, Git-based workflows, release cycles, technical specs/PRDs)
