The role of Sr. Software Engineer involves building and enhancing modern, scalable web applications, focusing on developing intuitive user experiences and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript
- Build reusable UI components and contribute to frontend architecture and design systems
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver high-quality features
- Optimize application performance, scalability, accessibility, and responsiveness
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices
- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Contribute across the full stack when needed, partnering with backend engineering teams to design, build, and maintain APIs and services that power frontend experiences
- Leverage AI-powered development tools, coding assistants, and autonomous agents to improve engineering productivity, accelerate delivery, and enhance code quality
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js and TypeScript
- Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development practices
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand
- Experience building responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend integrations
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar
- Ability and willingness to contribute beyond frontend development and work across backend technologies when required
- Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools, coding copilots, and agent-based workflows to improve software development efficiency
- Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, and modern CI/CD workflows
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
- Experience with Next.js or similar frontend frameworks
- Experience working with design systems and component libraries
- Knowledge of frontend observability, performance monitoring, and optimization techniques
- Experience building enterprise SaaS products
- Experience working in agile and fast-paced product organizations
- Experience building full-stack applications and working with backend technologies
- Experience leveraging AI/LLM-based developer tools to improve productivity and software quality
