The Subrogation Associate I role involves reviewing claims to identify subrogation opportunities, performing investigations, and managing assigned tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Review claims weekly to identify and evaluate subrogation opportunities
- Perform investigations to establish liability, identify responsible parties, and determine applicable insurance coverage, preparing case files in accordance with departmental standards to support staff operations
- Engage directly with members and outside organizations to gather, clarify, and relay information
- Maintain ownership of assigned tasks by effectively managing time, priorities, and deadlines
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of work experience beyond degree
- Familiarity with Epic EHR systems
- Familiarity in reviewing and analyzing medical records
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding
- Proven experience handling high‑volume administrative workloads while meeting multiple competing deadlines
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
