The Opportunity We are a fast-growing media startup managing a high-volume regional portfolio. The CEO is moving to focus on new revenue streams, and is looking for a Senior Account Manager (full time role)to assist with core advertising business. You will be assisting the CEO by co-managing an established portfolio of approx 120 accounts worth $680,000 in annual revenue across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
The Role
Revenue Ownership: With assistance of CEO + ops team, research, propose and close ~$56,600 in monthly core advertising related revenue and other revenue streams.
Consultative Pitching: Use our "Dead Reckoner" pricing matrix and "Product Archive", industry research and assistance from the ops team to build and deliver high-impact proposals.
Relationship Management: Potential regional travel (KL, Jakarta, etc.) to see our clients
Inbound Response: Act as the first responder for new business inquiries and opportunities
The Scorecard (Your KPIs)
We are results-oriented. Your success is measured by:
Monthly Revenue: $56,600 (Minimum HHWT advertising value signed).
Pipeline Activity: 20+ Client Meetings per month.
Proposal Volume: $113,000+ value of proposals sent per month
Write Min 2 B2B EDMs per month
High-Value Retention:
* Tier 1 ($25k+ annual spend accounts) & Strategic Partners and agencies: 1x quarterly Strategic Check-in. (counts as a client meeting)
Renumeration
The role offers a gross basic monthly salary of SGD 3,500. In addition, you will be eligible for incentives and commissions based on performance:
- Incentive 1: Once you close at least SGD 56,600 in monthly sales, you will receive an additional SGD 1,500.
- Incentive 2: Beyond this threshold, you will earn commissions on extra revenue — 5% for existing business and 10% for new business.
Requirements
We are looking for a driven professional who can thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment. The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Sales & Account Management Experience: At least 2–3 years of proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in advertising, media, or related industries.
- Portfolio Handling: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts, with exposure to portfolios worth significant annual revenue.
- Consultative Pitching: Strong skills in building proposals, delivering presentations, and tailoring solutions to client needs using data and industry insights.
- Regional Exposure:Willingness to travel within Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia for client meetings and relationship management.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in handling inbound inquiries, negotiations, and client retention.
- Results Orientation:Comfortable working with KPIs such as monthly revenue targets, proposal volume, and client meetings.
- Collaboration: Ability to work closely with the CEO and operations team to achieve revenue goals and support business growth.
- Start Date & Availability: Ability to commit full‑time and indicate earliest possible start date.
- Growth Mindset:Eagerness to gain exposure to new revenue streams, regional opportunities, and expand business development expertise.
