About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Senior Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a full-time basis, working remotely from within the state of Texas. As a Senior Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in operating data entry devices and performing a variety of data entry duties across functions, including Claims and Network Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading organization in the healthcare industry, leveraging your skills to drive excellence and make a meaningful impact.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate data entry devices to perform a range of data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Work independently on basic tasks with minimal supervision, while seeking guidance for more complex tasks.
- Utilize your moderate work experience within your function to tackle challenges and contribute to team objectives.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including occasional overtime and weekends during peak periods (October to February).
- Participate in quarterly team meetings at our Fort Worth office, if commutable.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, with a proven track record of delivering excellent service.
- Proficiency in AS400 and experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new and complex computer system applications.
- Availability to work during our normal business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST), with flexibility for overtime and weekend work as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a data entry role, particularly in the healthcare or insurance industry.
- Familiarity with data management principles and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
