We are looking for a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator who will help us optimize our LMS and contribute substantially to refining the overall learning experience for our employees. You’ll be working with the Perform and Develop Squad who is responsible for the design and deployment of talent, learning and performance initiatives for Equitable. Our squad mission is to be bold pioneers by delivering experiences that pave the way for excellence and growth. The ideal candidate: • Configures, tailors, and optimizes the LMS to align with the organization’s requirements • Manages LMS reporting to monitor progress and track performance within the organization, generating customized reports for various stakeholders • Employs learning analytics tools to discern trends about the system’s usage and determines how to optimize the LMS to meet business goals • Partners with the LMS vendor/LMS Consultant (IBM) to configure and maintain integrations to ensure seamless operation and data flow between the interconnected systems • Collaborates with the LMS vendor/LMS Consultant (IBM) and other stakeholders for ongoing system maintenance to ensure it remains up-to-date (e.g., applying automatic quarterly updates and patches, reviewing optional updates for implementation, monitoring system performance, and addressing technical issues) • Negotiates and maintains relationships with vendor content providers (LinkedIn Learning, SkillSoft, etc.) • Maintains LMS System Documentation ensuring that essential information is readily available for reference and troubleshooting • Provides user support, addressing common user issues and tackling more complex issues that demand a deeper understanding of the LMS functions and potential technical challenges • Keeps up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the LMS field and makes recommendations for enhancements to the system • Consults with business partners to create or modify learning programs within the LMS The base salary range for this position is $67,000 – $100,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Equitable Pay and Benefits: Equitable Total Rewards Program Qualifications Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) • 5+ years of experience with eLearning software integration with an LMS (SCORM / AICC, xAPI) • Experience with troubleshooting technical issues, identifying and implementing improvements, and managing and integrating new technologies and features within the LMS • Associate’s degree Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field • Experience with Oracle LMS • Able to balance technical acumen, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills • Effectively manages and negotiates with learning content providers to optimize learning experience • Empathizes with users, understands their concerns, and works collaboratively with different teams to create a seamless learning experience for all • Thrives in a highly collaborative environment – both within the Learning and Development team and across business stakeholders • Superior project management skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt with shifting priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment • Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills • Creative, innovative, strategic thinker • Strong learner-focused orientation Skills • Communication: Understanding of the importance of insightful listening and communicating and ability to provide information and messages in a way that produces clarity and impact. • Multimedia Learning Systems: Knowledge of functionality and operation of multimedia learning systems; ability to utilize the systems to facilitate learning activities. • Training Programs Management: Knowledge of processes and procedures of training programs management; ability to design, implement, evaluate and develop an organization’s training programs to achieve high business performance. • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Demonstrates a commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion by treating everyone with respect and dignity, ensuring all voices are heard and advocating for change.
