As a Senior Staff Attorney for The Hartford you will join a collaborative environment where you will have direct contact with our Claims Professionals while working from home! We are looking for a colleague with a strong background in civil litigation defending general liability and commercial motor vehicle accident cases ranging from the simple to complex.  This position will handle a wide array of commercial cases, including premises liability, and products liability, motor vehicle liability, and experience in addressing risk transfer issues. The Attorney will work remotely, and make appearances in the Northern Texas area (DFW area) and will be assigned cases in surrounding counties.

This position is a remote work position; the selected candidate will travel for appearances within the DFW area and surrounding counties to service the northern/central-northern half of Texas.

Typical Starting Salary: $145,000-$165,000

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$132,400 - $198,600
