Primary Role:
As a Senior Stop Loss Consultant, you will play a critical role in managing and negotiating stop loss insurance deals from inception to completion with an annual target of 125 cases. You will leverage your expertise in stop-loss products and your strong communication and negotiation skills to provide exceptional service for our clients. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in the industry and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Functions:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and support on stop loss insurance products
Oversee the entire deal process, from initial consultation to final agreement, ensuring all client needs are met
Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for clients and the company
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients, showcasing the benefits and features of stop-loss products
Efficiently manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of services
Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain a deep understanding of stop loss insurance products and market trends to provide informed recommendations to clients
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong communication and presentation abilities
Proven negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal closures
Expertise in stop loss insurance products
Strong understanding of stop loss policy life cycle to include but not limited to post-sale, premium administration and claims processes
Ability to manage client relationships effectively
Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Consultant in the stop loss insurance industry
The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 to $120,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
