Venture Studio, Consulting Research Intern
Vulcury Venture Studio & Consulting | Remote | Paid Internship · 3–6 Months
About Vulcury
Vulcury is a venture studio and advisory consultancy focused on building and scaling AI-enabled businesses. We incubate companies across industries—including manufacturing intelligence, investment research, and applied AI systems—while simultaneously advising external clients on strategy, AI implementation, and operational transformation.
Our model combines hands-on consulting execution with venture incubation. Capital, research, and relationships drive both.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Venture Studio, Consulting & Fundraising Research Intern to support high-level strategic and capital initiatives across Vulcury and its portfolio companies.
This is a broad, high-ownership role. You will work at the intersection of strategic research, AI landscape analysis, and fundraising operations—supporting the studio's capital formation efforts while producing research that shapes product direction, competitive positioning, and operational infrastructure across Vulcury's ventures (including Calisade and Trustbridge).
You will interface with senior leadership, contribute to investor-facing materials, and help build the research and fundraising infrastructure that underpins Vulcury's growth. The output of your work will inform real decisions.

Fundraising Coordination & Investor Support
Coordinate end-to-end fundraising workflows including investor outreach sequencing, pipeline tracking, and follow-up cadences
Assist in preparing and refining investor materials—pitch decks, one-pagers, data rooms, and narrative memos
Research target investors, family offices, strategic LPs, and venture funds aligned with Vulcury's thesis
Synthesize investor feedback and map it to strategic messaging adjustments
Support due diligence preparation and maintain organized documentation for active capital processes
Identify and track relevant grant programs, accelerator funding opportunities, and non-dilutive capital sources
AI Landscape & Technology Research
Monitor emerging AI tools, model releases, infrastructure innovations, and agentic frameworks relevant to Vulcury's portfolio
Evaluate build vs. buy vs. integrate pathways for AI adoption across consultancy and venture contexts
Assess cost structures, scalability, vendor defensibility, and implementation trade-offs
Research agent-based workflow systems, orchestration platforms, and enterprise AI deployment best practices
Study data architecture approaches including semantic layers, structured pipelines, and AI automation frameworks
Strategic & Market Research
Conduct market and competitive research across AI-enabled sectors relevant to portfolio companies
Produce structured research memos and executive-ready briefs on strategic questions
Support venture incubation research including market sizing, GTM strategy development, and ecosystem mapping
Analyze revenue models, monetization pathways, and positioning options for emerging ventures
Track macroeconomic, policy, and ecosystem signals that may affect portfolio strategy or capital market conditions
Synthesis & Communication
Deliver concise, decision-ready research outputs with clearly articulated trade-offs and recommendations
Prepare leadership-facing summaries that distill complex findings into actionable intelligence
Contribute to external communications including thought leadership content, capability briefs, and investor updates where relevant
Compensation
$100–$150 USD per month.
