The Windows Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, operation, monitoring and maintenance of Microsoft Windows-based technologies and Microsoft Active Directory across a multi-site, multinational Enterprise.
As a successful Windows Systems Administrator, you will be expected to have in depth knowledge of Windows Server Setup, deployment and maintenance, coding skills in PowerShell and the ability to solve complex IT issues. You will also be expected to be security aware and able to apply and adhere to the company’s security policies.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all tasks related to running a Windows Server environment smoothly
Responsible for daily technical operations and service request resolution
Identify and mitigate issues that impede application service delivery
Gather or relate technical requirements to/from non-technical people
Support and assist technical and non-technical internal users
Accountable for the successful completion of duties assigned
Investigating and reporting on modern technologies and systems as requested
Be able to record changes and build handover documents
Serves as escalation point for complex helpdesk support issues
Perform monitoring and preventative maintenance on servers
Help other team members with any issues they may encounter to maintain overall team effectiveness.
Actively seeks to promote a healthy team environment to maintain and increase overall team morale and individual team members’ job satisfaction.
Whenever needed, interact and assist with members of other teams to contribute to the overall company culture.
Carries out day-to-day communication with other teams to ensure that all team members are sufficiently aware of work being carried out by their colleagues.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
B.S. degree in Computer Science or 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role
Candidates with MCSE, MCSA and or other Azure related Microsoft Certifications will be preferred
Knowledge and experience with Windows 2016/2019, AD (Active Directory), System Center Configuration Manager and System Center Operations Manager (optional)
Office 365/Intune experience
PowerShell scripting experience
Good Grasp of network design and security
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management
Ability to stay focused to ensure that tickets are completed accurately and on time
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Elevated level of Information Security awareness
This role will be required to work a standard first shift of approximately 8:00AM - 4:00PM Mountain Standard Time. There is some flexibility in start and stop time. This can be discussed during the interview process.
