The NOC Agent position on our Perimeter Security Services team is responsible for the support of client configuration requests, break/fix troubleshooting and change management of Nuspire Managed Security Services. This role is part of a 24/7/365 team dedicated to supporting Nuspire’s clients and ensuring these services are up and in a healthy state. The ideal candidate will have at least 13 years of handson experience with firewall configuration and troubleshooting, network architecture and design, and an understanding of networking concepts.

- Rotating work schedule
- Remote work (equipment would be provided)
- HMO on day 1
To apply for NOC Agent, you are excellent at:
- Remediate network connectivity and device issues for clients
- Troubleshoot client network device issues related to inscope managed services
- Conduct investigations into issues and escalate Level II and engineering team necessary or required
- Work with vendors on the resolution of support tickets
- Work on projects as assigned by management
- Perform upgrades and patch management on network devices as required
Your Success Profile includes:
- This position requires at least 1-3 years of hands-on technical networking experience
- Experience with next-generation firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortigate, Cisco, etc)
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching)
- Knowledge of network defenses such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, Proxies
- Knowledge of troubleshooting routing and switching issues
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinker
- Ability to review packets with tools such as Wireshark and TCPdump
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Ability to explain technical details to nontechnical audiences
