They are seeking a Vice President of Business Development to drive revenue growth, build strategic partnerships, and expand market presence in the healthcare benefits space.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute national business development strategies to drive revenue growth
- Build and expand relationships with brokers, consultants, advisors, employers, and healthcare decision makers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple markets and client segments
- Develop strategic partnerships that support long term company growth
- Collaborate with leadership to introduce and position new service offerings
- Support proposal development, contract negotiations, and RFP responses
- Analyze market trends and competitive activity to identify expansion opportunities
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, events, and client meetings
- Partner closely with operations and internal teams to ensure successful implementation of new business
Skills
- Seven or more years of healthcare business development, sales, or consulting experience
- Established relationships with brokers, benefits advisors, consultants, or healthcare purchasing decision makers
- Experience within biosimilars, specialty pharmacy, PBMs, pharmaceutical services, healthcare consulting, or related healthcare sectors
- Demonstrated success developing and closing strategic business opportunities
- Strong understanding of employer healthcare benefits and pharmacy cost management
- Experience managing multiple sales opportunities and client relationships simultaneously
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
- Highly organized, self directed, and comfortable operating in a remote environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred
